The Samsung E2120 is a dual-band bar phone that has a minimalist approach to its features. The screen is a 1.52 Inch CSTN display and comes with a 65k colour, 128 x 128 pixel screen resolution.

The E2120 has a built in VGA camera for simple use for things like MMS and photocalling. Photo call is when the user of the handset saves an image onto their phone and assigns it to a contact in their phone book. When the contact calls the user or vise versa, the image will appear on the screen. The Samsung E2120 comes with a basic MP3/MP4 player which means that the user is able to put some of their favourite song onto their handset to listen to or to use a ringtone. The handset has a speakerphone so that the user can listen to their music on a loudspeaker instead of the need to use headphones. This is a good size for a handset that is lightweight and easy to hold in the hand, but contains the basic requirement for its users.
